Headdress Expressive Portrait
"Headgear, headwear or headdress is the name given to any element of clothing which is worn on one's head."
If you pick this project...
1) Research different cultures, artists, and ideas.
2) Decide WHO you will draw, and why.
3) Decide what the elaborate "headdress" will represent. It should relate to the person you are drawing! Collect images and resources.
4) Save image to iPad (important for future reference)
5) Convert image to a black and white
6) Print
7) Draw a 1" x 1" grid on image
8) Measure current size of image and times the height and width by 2
- if image size is 11" x 8.5" the new paper size is 22" x 17"
9) Cut/Get large paper to fit your image that is doubles
- large new paper size would be 22" x 17"
10) Lightly add a grid to paper that is 2" x 2"
11) Begin drawing image onto paper (step by step)
